Incontinence Treatment
Ninety percent of abscesses are the result of an acute infection in the internal glands of the anus. Occasionally, bacteria, fecal material, or foreign matter can block the anal gland and tunnel into the tissue around the anus or rectum, where it may then collect in a cavity creating an abscess. Unfortunately, this occurs from bad luck.
Abscess and Fistula Treatment
Pelvic floor muscles may become weak or lose tone most commonly due to aging, menopause, or childbirth. This may lead to discomfort, change in sexual function, or problems with urination. Pelvic floor muscle retraining uses exercises to strengthen the pelvic muscles, and may be guided by a physiotherapist. At SASC we offer innovative customized treatments utilizing Empower by InMode. Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) is a non-invasive technology to rehabilitate weakened pelvic floor muscles.
